The seed of achievement lies in the human mind and ‘Arthgauravam’ gives the mind ample opportunity to think and to blossom into a beautiful flower spreading its fragrance all around.

ARTHGAURAVAM- Arth refers to Chanakya’s Arthashastra and Gaurav means Pride.

Arthgauravam- the Economics Society of the School was born with the motive of inspiring and enlightening students about all the economic aspects, which play a vital role in everybody’s lives. The logo of our society CHANAKYA symbolizes respect and pride for the subject. In these 7 years of its evolution, the society has grown by leaps and bounds in all areas and has made a mark for itself. The philosophy of our school has always been such that it strives for complete all round development and holistic personality development; and Arthgauravam is a perfect example.

The society has blossomed under the able guidance of Mrs. Meera Malhotra and all teachers of the Economics Department. The activities of the society include presentations on current topics, exciting factory visits, group discussions, enlightening speeches by renowned people and the annually held `Arthnama` (the economics symposium). The members are exposed to different tasks instilling in them the qualities of leadership and logical analysis. The students are given ample opportunities to participate in inter-school competitions, ad acting, declamations, presentations and quizzes.

On the whole, all the activities of the society are fun beyond limits and also help in gaining confidence and understanding the basics of crucial subjects. Learning to know the importance of the most important subject today is the actual goal of the society.
