There will be only one 45 minutes objective (MCQ) type written round. The participants shall be judged on the following topics mainly - history and generation of computers, structure of computers, hardware and software, games, virus, latest news in the IT field, Indian companies and their performances, CEOs of reputed companies, networking, internet & its uses & acronyms.

Multimedia Presentation

Software: Macromedia Flash or Microsoft PowerPoint
Topic: Any topic from the Courseware or your School Syllabus.

The students are required to submit the presentation created by them on first day i.e. 18th December at the registration desk, on a CD/DVD along with colour printouts of at least six screenshots (handout form). During the preliminary round, appropriate weightage will be given to the printouts. Only 6 schools shall be selected for the finals. All finalists will be given a 5 minutes time (excluding time for interjections). Judges and Audience will both be allowed to interject. We will be providing a Standard P-IV Windows XP loaded (without Internet) machine, if your software requires a higher configuration or special software/add-on, please bring your own machine.

Webpage Designing

Time Allowed : 60 Minutes

Participants will be asked to write HTML code to create a web page on a given topic (No software like Front Page or Dream Weaver will be allowed). The Topic along with few text, images and Videos related to that topic will be given on the spot. No external material will be allowed.
